A bunch of head-to-head matchups dictated the majority of this week’s biggest movers and shakers.
6A:

Shakers:
Harlingen (5-4) 140/87 (-53) at *San Benito (9-0)
Cesar Mancias’ 103 yards rushing helped the Eagles knock off Harlingen and move Hanna to second in the district with the season finale against Weslaco East up next. Harlingen takes on district-leader San Benito in its finale.
5A:

Shakers:
Fort Bend Elkins (2-5) 149/101 (-48) at *Texas City (3-5)
Clarence Dalton finished with just under 200 yards on the ground and helped Galveston Ball move up nearly 50 spots in Jerry’s rankings. Fort Bend Elkins looks to close out strong at Texas City.
4A Div I:

Shakers:

District 14-4A Division I continues to be a buzzsaw with Taylor taking down Fredericksburg, 35-12. The Ducks will host Canyon Lake for the title this weekend. The Battlin’ Billies hope to close out with a win at Eastside Memorial.
4A Div II:

Shakers:
Brownfield (2-7) 74/59 (-15) at *Bushland (7-2)
Brownfield is still in search of its first district win following a 35-21 loss to Dalhart. The Cubs have one more chance agaibst district-leading Bushland this weekend.
3A Div I:

Shakers:
Bishop (7-2) 50/36 (-14) vs *Santa Rosa (5-4)
222 yards combined from Ryan Ochoa and Ryan Briones lifted San Diego to a 50-14 win over Bishop and sets up a district-title game at Lyford, also unbeaten in district play. Bishop nearly drops out of the Top 50, but can rebound this weekend at San Rosa with a playoff spot already secure.
3A Div II:

Como-Pickton (5-4) 70/80 (+10) vs *Alba-Golden (3-6)
Shakers:
Lone Oak (5-4) 55/35 (-20) at *Gilmer Harmony (9-0)
Como-Pickton picked up its first win of the season over Lone Oak who have to close out the season at No. 7 Harmony Gilmer.
2A Div I:

Shakers:
Wolfe City (8-1) 41/19 (-22) vs *Bogata Rivercrest (9-0)
A big 61-21 win over Wolfe City not only moves Linden-Kildaire into the Top 25 of Jerry’s rankings, but also gives Rivercrest an inside track for district title still sitting at 4-0. But Wolfe City closes out the year hosting the Rebels so it’s still a wait-and-see.
2A Div II:

Bronte (1-8) 79/87 (+8) vs *Albany (9-0)
Shakers:
Baird (1-8) 85/79 (-6) at *Winters (4-5)
Bronte picked up its first win of the season against Baird and now has No. 3 Albany on the slate to close out the year. Both teams are tied with Miles at 1-3 for the fourth place and last playoff spot heading into the final week.
1A Div I:

Shakers:
Rotan (6-3) 49/40 (-9) at *Spur (4-5)
Paducah has a shot to break into the Top 25 before the end of the year after a win at Rotan and a game against No. 16 Knox City to close out the year.
1A Div II:

Chillicothe has a bye this week before traveling to Harrold with a chance to keep its spot in the Top 50. Vernon Northside hosts Crowell this weekend looking to rebound after its disappointing loss to the Eagles.
