Humble Atascocita 2026 ATH Cardae Mack (5'9, 195) has made a name for himself with his explosive playmaking ability and impressive versatility on the field.
As a sophomore, Mack racked up 1,370 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns.
Not just limited to running the ball, he also caught 20 passes for 244 yards and three touchdowns, proving that he’s a dual-threat talent who can change the game in multiple ways.
“I feel like I am an athlete. An all-purpose player,” Mack said. “Anywhere they need me, I am there. I am not a set position guy. I have never claimed to be a set position guy."
Mack currently holds 21 Division I offers and is keeping a level-headed perspective. "It is normal. It is a good feeling, but at the end of the day you can only take one," Mack said, showing maturity beyond his years in navigating the recruiting process.
Several programs are making a strong push for Mack, including Texas Tech, USC, Oregon, Houston, and Missouri. Though Mack hasn’t named any favorites yet, he indicated that discussions about his future are ongoing with his family. "We have not discussed it yet," Mack shared. "We will let y'all know once it has been discussed."
Mack has found meaningful connections with several coaches who have taken the time to get to know him on a personal level, and those relationships could pay dividends as his recruitment unfolds.
"The UH running back coach, Coach Joseph, is a great dude. Coach Samp (Oregon RB Coach Ra'Shaad Samples) and Coach Looper (Missouri RB Coach Curtis Looper)—they all talk to me very consistently," Mack said. "They don't look at me just as a football player; they look at me as a person too, so I like that."
