Shadow Creek 2025 WR JaCorey Watson (5'11, 175) committed to Baylor over Houston in large part due to how he envisions himself in the offensive system of Offensove Coordinator Jake Spavital.
"Coach Spav (Baylor Offensive Coordinator Jake Spavital) likes to air that thing out.," Watson said. "That will be a good fit for me because I like to run. My goal is to run, get open, and score touchdowns, and that is what Coach Spav's goal is."
Watson is rated as a DCTF four-star prospect, checking in at No. 43 in the 2025 DCTF Rising Hot 100.
