On this July 4th Holiday, we take a look at Texas high school football prospects who have pledged to the service academies in the Class of 2025.
Army - RB Jadon Rodriguez (Barbers Hill): The 5-foot-9, 190-pounder is slippery and bounces off tacklers to pick up extra yards.
Air Force - WR Keyshon Moore (Bastrop): The 5-foot-7, 155-pounder is a force in the slot who racked up over 1,000 receiving yards in 2023.
Air Force: ATH Bryce Braden - (Stratford): The 6-foot-3, 230-pounder is a QB/LB who racked up 184 tackles, over 4,400 yards of total offense and 48 touchdowns in 2023.
Air Force: ATH Grayson Rigdon - (TBA): The 5-foot-11, 185-pounder is one of the best six-man players to ever suit up in Texas high school football, sporting three state title rings.
Air Force: WR Chase Ferrell - (Cy Falls): The 5-foot-6, 170-pounder's biggest strengths are his acceleration and strong hands.
Air Force: LB Mekhi Campbell - (Legacy the School of Sports Sciences): The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder closes on the ball carrier quickly and boasts sideline-to-sideline ability.
Air Force: RB Jaylen Holloway - (Pittsburg): The 5-foot-11, 200-pounder is a powerful running back who will run over any defender who gets in his way.
Air Force: OT Richard Grigg - (Austin Westlake): The 6-foot-5, 285-pounder has a high ceiling for development because he boasts an impressive 78.5” wingspan and Ivy League academics.
Air Force: DE Cullen Devine - (Austin Westlake): The versatile 6-foot-3, 230-pound defensive lineman is a force up front who uses his hands well and plays with good leverage.
Air Force: EDGE Major Thornhill (Gunter): The 6-foot-3, 210-pound hybrid defender is a fiery defender who played his best ball on the biggest stage in a state title win over Tidehaven.
