Lumberton 2024 DE Brock Jackson (6'4, 245) committed to Baylor over offers from Arkansas, Missouri, Texas Tech and more.

The DCTF three-star was impressed by his visit to Baylor's junior day, where he got to know the coaching staff on a personal level.

The Bears coaching staff, including Caleb Collins, Matt Powledge, and Dave Aranda, made a considerable effort to build a strong personal relationship with Jackson, which played a big role in his decision to commit.

"I’ve loved Baylor since day one and how the staff treated me," jackson said. "It was a no-brainer for me. (I) want to lead this recruiting class too."

Jackson racked up 64 tackles, 21 TFLs, and six sacks as a junior in 2022.

Scouting Report: Jackson is a talented defensive end and a good pass rusher, but he can also play linebacker and has been used in different positions on the field, showcasing his overall versatility as a defender. Jackson is known for his blue-collar attitude and relentless approach to the game; he plays mean and his motor is always running hot. He will be a force versus the run in college.

The commitment of Brock Jackson is another win for Baylor on the recruiting trail, adding to a 2024 class that already boasts four-star WR Jadon Porter and three-star OL Koltin Sieracki.
