Tatum 2023 DT Cullen "CJ" Fite (6'1, 280) picked up new offers from Nebraska and Louisiana Tech and scheduled an official visit to see Oregon State (6/24).
Fite also has offers from schools like North Texas, SMU, UTSA, Arizona State, Kansas State, ULM and Tulane.
His brother (DE Trey Fite) signed with SMU in the Class of 2022.
As a junior, Fite collected 53 tackles, 16 tackles for a loss, and three sacks to earn 6-3A Division I Defensive MVP honors.
Commit of the Week
Euless Trinity 2023 DT Ricky Lolohea (6'3, 280) committed to Oklahoma State over North Texas, SMU, Texas Tech, ULM and San Diego State offers.
Lolohea is rated as a DCTF three-star prospect.
Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Lolohea is a force at stopping the run. He uses his hands well to disengage from blockers and quickly finds the football. He plays with passion on every snap and has the type of frame that will be easily bulked up in the college strength and conditioning program.
Underclassman of the Week
Lumberton 2024 DE/OLB Brock Jackson (6'3, 230) picked up a new offer from Baylor this week.
Jackson also holds offers from North Texas, Texas Tech, UTSA and Central Michigan.
Jackson is an athletic edge defender who continues to add strength and power to his frame.
As a junior, Jackson collected 74 tackles, 16 tackles for a loss and five sacks to earn all district honors.
Recruit of the Week
Austin Westlake 2023 DE Colton Vasek (6'6, 230) shot up the DCTF rankings list and now checks in as the No. 9 prospect in the state.
The four-star is closing in on 40 scholarship offers and has scheduled official visits to Clemson, Oklahoma and Oregon.
His father (Brian Vasek) played his college ball for Texas.
