These are the top five performers from this weekend's Keller Central and Midlothian Heritage SQTs. The athletes are listed in no particular order.
Prosper Neal – Rockwall-Heath 2027 QB
Neal (5'10, 180) was throwing haymakers at the Midlothian Heritage SQT. The 2027 QB threw four separate 50-yard touchdown passes on Rockwall-Heath's first play of the series in the final two games. Neal emerged as the Hawks' starting quarterback five games into last season and finished with 1,047 passing yards, 14 touchdowns and two interceptions. He could be a breakout star at the State 7-on-7 Tournament in College Station.
Jackson Howard – Plano East 2026 TE
This is an unofficial stat, but in the Plano East games DCTF watched, it felt like Howard caught 80% of the passes. The 6'3, 205 tight end was a Second Team District 6-6A selection with 498 receiving yards and seven touchdowns as a junior and looks like he's only improved upon his game this offseason. He has the versatility to line up at X receiver, tight end, or up back. Look for Plano East to match him up against outside linebackers, where he's a clear mismatch. Howard currently has no offers but has camped at Stephen F. Austin and gained interest from Wyoming.
Hudson Humble – Killeen Harker Heights 2027 QB
Hudson has made opposing teams sit down and be Humble during the spring 7-on-7 circuit, where he's piloted an undefeated Harker Heights squad. The 6'0, 178 signal caller was the District 12-6A Co-Offensive MVP as a sophomore with 2,986 passing yards, 38 touchdowns and eight interceptions on a 79.3 percent completion rate. He plays with swagger, and his teammates rally around him.
Ziondre Williams – Anna 2026 QB
In three separate SQTs that DCTF has scouted, Williams has not come off the field once. The 6'0, 168 quarterback broke out two years ago when he led Anna to a state championship, and he followed it up as a junior with 4,308 total yards and 38 touchdowns. Williams had a pick-six at the Keller Central SQT and led Anna to a College Station qualification, then came out Saturday at Midlothian Heritage and alternated from quarterback to wide receiver, where he caught multiple touchdowns.
Banner Nitcholas – Irving MacArthur 2026 ATH
Irving MacArthur qualified for the State 7-on-7 Tournament on Thursday behind Nitcholas's six touchdown catches. The 6'2, 188 athlete had three deep catches to convert on third-and-longs against Coppell, then had another long touchdown catch in the qualifying game against Byron Nelson. Nitcholas was the District 7-6A Utility Player of the Year as a junior with 802 receiving yards, 301 rushing yards and 329 return yards. His headline offer is Montana State right now.
HONORABLE MENTION: Dhillon McGee (Red Oak 2027 CB) and Brendyn Jackson (Midlothian 2028 WR)
McGee, a 6'0, 178 cornerback, was lockdown at the Midlothian Heritage SQT. Over two games DCTF scouted, he had two interceptions and a pass breakup in the endzone. McGee runs a 4.4 in the 40-yard dash and a 10.5 in the 100-m dash.
Jackson, a 5'11, 170 receiver, had 47 catches for 692 yards and seven touchdowns as a freshman starter on varsity. In addition, he played safety in multiple games. Jackson ran smooth routes and does not look like a rising sophomore physically. Midlothian head coach Doug Wendel said his game is actually ahead of where current Clemson wide receiver and former Midlothian standout Bryant Wesco was at the same point in their careers.
