2027 QB Hudson Humble (Harker Heights): Humble sliced up defenses, highlighted by a strong second half in the state qualifying round against Allen, where he changed tempo effectively to keep defenders off balance. Lamar has offered, and it’s clear that whoever lands Humble is getting a high-IQ passer with moxie.
Fun Fact: Humble is the son of Harker Heights HC Mark Humble.
2027 WR Julian Caldwell (Argyle): Caldwell played through a minor injury and still made explosive plays, including a deep touchdown just before halftime that helped seal Argyle’s state-qualifying win over Frisco. 2026 QB Maguire Gaasperson also played phenomenally well.
2026 RB Christian Rhodes (Lake Highlands): Rhodes helped punch Lake Highlands' ticket to state with a strong showing vs. Anna, making DCTX's top five list for the second consecutive week. The SMU commit has elite burst and a college-ready frame. He’s already a four-star but continues to trend up.
2026 QB Ziondre Williams (Anna): Williams was steady as always and even made an impact at DB, notching an INT in the state-qualifier. He also showed trust in 2029 ATH Cor'Mond Houston (6'0, 180), who emerged as a go-to target.
2026 ATH Lucas Mangham (Frisco Wakeland): Wakeland missed the qualifying round, but Mangham (6'1, 175) stood out on both sides of the ball, making tough catches and flashing playmaking ability. He’s poised for a big year alongside 2026 QB Jayden Maples.
