Gordon is officially home to the first-ever six-man three-star prospects in Dave Campbell’s Texas Football prospect rankings history (2012-present).
2026 ATHs Ry Reed (5'10, 170) and Stryker Reed (6'0, 190) have both been elevated to three-star status, powered by back-to-back 1A Division 1 state championships. The duo powered the Longhorns to a dominant victory over Whiteface in the 2024 title game, with Stryker Reed earning Offensive MVP honors after scoring four touchdowns.
Despite attending a school with an enrollment of just 75 students, both Reeds have drawn serious FBS interest, and although they share a last name and similar offers list, the two are not related.
Stryker, who holds football offers from UTSA and Army along with track and field offers from Baylor, Rice, and others, is one of the state's most coveted two-sport athletes. Ry, meanwhile, first emerged with an offer from North Texas and has since added UTSA and Army as well.
Both will compete in multiple events at the UIL State Track Meet tomorrow in Austin.
Fun Fact: Last season, Arizona State signee Grayson Rigdon appeared poised to become the first six-man player to earn three-star status in DCTF rankings history (2012-present) before transferring to Columbus (3A Division 1).
