Abilene has built momentum over the past two seasons, posting a 19-7 record. As the Eagles prepare for 2025, they’ll need to reload at key positions - but one thing remains certain: Brayden Henry will be the anchor of this team.

Here’s a look at some Abilene prospects who are poised to shine.

2026 ATH Brayden Henry (5-8, 155): The dynamic quarterback is cementing his Abilene legacy. His 2,114 rushing yards in 2024 set a school record for an Eagles quarterback, as did his 31 rushing touchdowns. On film, Henry showcases patience as a runner, using his vision and quickness to set up blocks and create big plays. If he doesn't stick at quarterback, he could transition to slot receiver at the next level. Texas Tech was his first reported offer.

2026 DL Aamanni Strahan (5-11, 235): A first-team all-district selection is a disruptive force who makes life difficult for offensive linemen. He plays with great pad level, relentless energy and delivers fierce tackles. Despite being undersized, his high-motor style and aggressive play make him a problem in the trenches. Strahan forms a nice one-two punch on the defensive front with 2026 DT Jayden Starks (6'1, 255) who was the District Defensive Newcomer of the Year.

2027 LB Skyler Faimoa (6-0, 210): A physical, reliable tackler, Faimoa has the strength to bring down ball carriers on contact. He navigates traffic well and plays with discipline, rarely finding himself out of position. As he refines his lateral quickness and agility, his recruitment should benefit. This offseason will be crucial for his development.

2027 WR M'Aujehl Aboso (5-10, 180): With UTEP signee Ryland Bradford gone, the Eagles need a new playmaker, and Aboso has the explosiveness to step up. His 4.6 speed flashes on tape, making him a name to watch in the offense.
