Anahuac (2-0) vs Garrison (2-0) at Woodville:
Anahuac travels to Woodville for the second straight week, this time for a neutral site matchup with 2A power Garrison.
The Panthers squeaked past Woodville, 29-20, last week as Anahuac forced six turnovers that proved to be the difference.
Garrison has lived dangerously thus far in 2024 as the Bulldogs are off to a 2-0 start with both wins coming by a single point. Last week, the Bulldogs knocked off Arp 27-26 in overtime, as Antonio and Avery Yarborough led the Bulldogs on both sides of the ball.
Garrison’s not near as deep as they were a year ago and that’s a concern going into this matchup against the larger school in Anahuac.
