Angelo State’s leading receiver from last year, Noah Massey, has signed a grant-in-aid to play in the Big 12 Conference with West Virginia after entering the transfer portal in late April, according to a release from the Mountaineers

Massey gained 1,083 yards receiving and scored nine touchdowns in his two seasons with Angelo State, including leading the Rams with 684 yards and four touchdowns last year. Massey transferred to ASU after playing in 15 games for Bowling Green from 2018-2020.

Sources indicate Massey participated in spring practice with the Rams before entering the portal. He was named a second-team All-Lone Star Conference wide receiver in 2022.

Massey also held offers from Texas A&M-Commerce Long Island University, University of Northern Colorado, Robert Morris, Central Michigan, Jacksonville State, and Northern Illinois, according to his social media account.
