San Antonio O'Connor 2024 OL Briley Brown (6'4, 280) made his commitment to UTSA on Monday, picking the Roadrunners over offers from UIW, Texas Tech and Louisiana Tech.

Brown is the first commitment for Jeff Traylor and UTSA in the Class of 2024.

"First off, he is a great young man," O'Connor head coach David Malesky said. "He is the 4th (Brown) brother to have played at O'Connor that I've coached."

"The thing that stands out is that he is really athletic for a big man. He has great feet, great flexibility, and he is extremely strong."

Brown is rated as a DCTF three-star offensive center prospect, which is the position that UTSA has recruited him for. Brown is big enough and strong enough to play guard as he matures, but his knowledge of the offensive scheme and his quickness off the ball make him the perfect candidate to play in the middle of the O-line.

"I think he's a great player," Malesky said.
