Arlington Martin 2026 DE/TE Jesse Ford (6'5, 225) just picked up his first scholarship offer from Nebraska, a school with strong ties to the Arlington Martin program.

Nebraska TE coach Bob Wager spent 17 seasons as the head coach at Arlington Martin, and the 'Huskers signed TE Ismael Smith Flores and WR Jeremiah Charles in the Class of 2023.

Ford is a versatile weapon who projects to impact both sides of the ball next season, per Warriors' head coach Chad Rives

"He has the prototype DE/TE body, and he will probably do both for us," Rives said. "He has the size to be a true inline guy on offense and his overall athleticism makes him really special on defense."

"He doesn't look like normal freshman at all."

"His work ethic is unmatched. He's there every day, two times a day. He is our leading thrower in the shot put, so he was our No. 1 guy as a freshman."

Ford will get plenty of looks in the spring evaluation period, so his offer count will rise significantly.
