Lancaster 2024 CB Corian Gipson (6'1, 175) is one of the state's most heavily recruited prospects, checking in with 39 total scholarship offers.

The Tigers are focused on finishing the 2023 season with a state championship win coming off a 9-3 year where they tested some of the state's top teams. Gipson is growing into a leadership role.

"Thanks to my coaches, they have pushed me to the limit as a player, so really, I work on a lot of stuff I don't feel comfortable with," Gipson said. "Being a better leader and teaching other folks how to do this and that."

Gipson plans to narrow his focus on a set group of schools later this spring, so we spoke with him specifically about Texas, Alabama, and Ohio State, all schools that he has had the chance to visit.

Texas - "What I like about Texas really is the coaching staff. They treat you like family."

Alabama - "It is a blessing to have an offer from Alabama. They will push you to your limits for sure."

Ohio State - "Really I like the coaches. We keep in contact with each other. We chop it up on football and life in general."

Will Gipson pick one of the schools we asked about, or will it be one of his other 36 offers? Stay tuned!
