The UIL Wrestling State Championships are Friday, February 17th - Saturday, February 18th at the Berry Center in Cypress, Texas, and can be streamed on NFHS Network

Lake Travis DT Jacob Henry - 6A Boys, 285 Weight Class
The son of the 'World's Strongest Man' Mark Henry of AEW racked up 50 tackles, five TFLs, four sacks, and nine QB hurries to earn first-team all-district honors. Bethune-Cookman has offered the DCTF three-star. Henry is 21-3 on the year.

Mesquite Horn DL Armstrong Nnodim - 6A Boys, 285 Weight Class
Nnodim is a monster on the gridiron, in the weight room, and on the mats. The three-star Rice commitment collected a school-record 16 sacks, boasts a 455-pound bench press and a 675-pound squat, and has a 22-2 wrestling record. 

Lovejoy LB Payton Pierce - 5A  Boys,  215 Weight Class
The reigning and defending 215-pound state champion has a big target on his back, entering the tournament with a 13-0 record. The DCTF four-star ILB is one of the state's most heavily recruited prospects, with over 35 scholarship offers - Baylor, TCU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma and more. 

Lovejoy OC Sam Reynolds - 5A Boys, 285 Weight Class
The Lovejoy program is one of the state's best, and Reynolds is also a defending state champion. He enters the tournament with a 44-2 record. On the football recruiting front, Reynolds is rated as a DCTF three-star center prospect and a 2021 all-state selection.
