Denton Guyer 2024 CB Eli Bowen (5'9, 170) is a BALL MAGNET. He racked up ten interceptions during his sophomore campaign and was back again on the field wreaking havoc as a junior in 2022. 

His production and talent have led to over 20 college programs extending him scholarship offers. 

"I just feel like I'm a ballhawk; I have a nose for the ball," Bowen said when asked about his strengths. 

Bowen has offers coming in from coast-to-coast and has yet to release a favorites list so we specifically asked him about some of the programs he has expressed a sincere interest in. 

• Oklahoma: "My favorite thing is probably Coach (Jay) Valai. I just feel like I have a good connection with him."
• Texas A&M: "It is a hometown school. It's in Texas. It's in the SEC."
• Baylor: "It is definitely person over player, and you could definitely see that when I was there. That was the main speech they gave. The main topic they stayed on."
• Oregon: "I feel like it is just a flashy school. When you think of Oregon, you think of the colors, the green. The area is just nice. It is just a great environment. That is just what I feel like."
• Nebraska: "I have been texting with a lot of coaches, and they have been saying they have been moving in the right direction, so I would love to go check it out and see if that's true."

Bowen mentioned that TCU is another program that recruits fans should watch regarding his recruitment. 

Bowen's brother (Peyton Bowen) signed with OU in the Class of 2023.
