Lewisville 2024 ATH Viron Ellison (6'0, 170) had a breakout season, leading the Farmers with 1,504 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns.

"It felt great," Ellison said. "It was overall a great season, and I enjoyed spending it with my brothers."

Lewisville marched four rounds deep into the playoffs, and the team is coming back next season with a chip on its shoulder.

"The way it ended, we didn't really enjoy that, so we are really trying to clap back."

Ellison is not only a talented running back, but he is also getting looks from colleges on the defensive side of the ball or as an athlete.

Lewisville would insert him on 'D' at crucial moments or when the team needed a big stop.

Examining his two P5-level offers, Missouri offered him as an ATH and Cal offered him as an RB.

"They're keying me for my physicality," Ellison said when asked about his college interest. "On my film, you know, I primarily play running back, but I came in on some pass rush and stuff, just like how I am violent on the plays."

Ellison also has offers from Texas State, Colorado State, Northern Arizona and Western Kentucky and has been on an unofficial visit to see Texas State, mentioning the "culture" as a highlight in San Marcos.

Ellison also visited Florida State unofficially and mentioned schools like Oklahoma, Penn State, Utah, Utah State and Louisiana when asked about other schools of note.

The 2022 football season was Ellison's first without his father (Viron Ellison Sr.), who tragically died at 35. Viron plays in honor of him and their close relationship.

Ellison cherished his pregame talks with his father and is determined to make him proud by playing well in high school and beyond.
