Lewisville 2024 DB Jaydan Hardy (6'0, 170) is an elite and versatile defender in the secondary, and that is why he has programs from coast-to-coast chasing his signature. He could realistically play Cornerback, Safety, or Nickelback at the next level.
"Yes sir, that's the name of my game," Hardy said when asked if versatility is his strength. "I play offense, I do it all. I try to make an impact to the game however I can. I am getting mostly recruited at Nickel. Most of my film is there. I love playing everywhere and I think my IQ allows me to do that."
With 25 offers on the table, hardy has yet to name a cut-down list, so we specifically asked him about some of the colleges that are on his list.
Baylor: "Coach Aranda is real big on person over player. Just building me as a man and that is big to me when the coach is going to look out for you more than football."
Oklahoma: "Coach Venables (keeps OU in the game). I know a few people that go up there and I am real big on trust."
Alabama: "Nick Saban. It speaks for itself."
Tennessee: "My pops (Darryl Hardy) went there from 1987-91. He was an All-SEC linebacker there. They honored him as a legend of the game one time I went back there and just hearing the crowd roar was one of the highlights."
Texas and Texas A&M: They both had a little bit of an off year, but that really doesn't affect how I look at them because I know what they have, and they are both very young in my eyes."
