Over the past week or so, Lewisville 2024 CB Tony-Louis Nkuba (6'1, 170) has seen his recruitment take off significantly.

The CB MVP from the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 Showcase has picked up new offers from Arizona State, Texas State, Tulsa, New Mexico State, Cal and SMU. Texas Tech was his first P5 offer.

"I went there with the mindset of just to master my technique and keep getting better," Nkuba said. "I worked to perfection."

Nkuba on Texas Tech: I was actually there last summer and I was defensive player of the camp, but I didn't have any film yet. They were watching me through the season and they threw the offer right after the season. It is a real quiet city, calm. It looks like a place where I could go and focus about football over there."

Nkuba on Arizona State: "What stands out to me is the coach that offered me actually (Bryan Carrington). I have a good relationship with him before. He used to be at TCU. And he just believes in me and I just trust him."
