Dave Campbell’s Texas Football has confirmed that West Texas A&M coach Josh Lynn has added three coaches to his staff, including Levi Gallas, Brian Vaughn, and Cody Russell, while Chris Watkins has been retained from Hunter Hughes's staff.

Gallas is following Lynn from Nebraska-Kearney and will serve as defensive coordinator and defensive line coach for the Buffs, the same position he held with the Lopers since 2017.

Brian Vaughn was also a member of Lynn’s staff at Nebraska-Kearney and will be the linebackers coach for WT. Cody Russell is another coach following Lynn to Canyon and will serve as the Buffs wide receivers coach and special teams co-coordinator after coaching cornerbacks last year.

At least one member of Hunter Hughes's previous staff is being retained. Chris Watkins remains on the Buffs staff and will coach defensive backs after serving as a graduate assistant with the defensive backs.

The remaining staff will be added once it has been confirmed.
