Prospect on the Rise

Lake Travis 2024 OLB Markus Boswell (6'1, 200) picked up two new in-state offers from UTSA and Texas State and was re-offered by Deion Sanders at Colorado this week. 

The athletic defender was credited with 49 tackles and three tackles for a loss in 2022. 

Boswell will compete at the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 Showcase in Houston on Saturday. 

Commit of the Week

Temple 2023 WR Mikal Harrison-Pilot (6'0, 190) committed to Houston over TCU, Texas, Cal and Oklahoma. 

Pilot checks in as the No. 28 prospect in the DCTF Hot 100 and is the No. 8 WR in the state. 

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Pilot is a four-year varsity starter with experience playing multiple positions, but throughout his development, he has blossomed into a technique-sound wide receiver who has the size, route-running ability, and hands to be an all-conference caliber player. 

Underclassman of the Week

Duncanville 2025 WR Dakorien Moore (5'11, 175) has been named as the first DCTF five-star prospect in the Class of 2025.

Moore has already racked up 29 scholarship offers featuring schools like Alabama, Baylor, Florida, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M and USC. 

As a sophomore, Moore helped lead the Panthers to the 6A Divison I state championship, collecting 44 receptions for 764 yards and six touchdowns. 

Recruit of the Week

Katy Paetow 2024 DE Loghan Thomas (6'3, 210) was named MVP following a dominating All-American Bowl National Combine performance. 

Thomas has since picked up new offers from Houston, North Texas and Notre Dame. He also holds offers from Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Kansas State, Memphis, Sam Houston, SMU and Texas Tech.
