JUST IN: One of TXHSFB's top coaches joining Rhule's Nebraska staff

One of the state's top high school head coaches is headed to the college ranks.

Arlington Martin's Bob Wager tells DCTF that he'll take over as the tight ends and assistant special teams coach for Matt Rhule's Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Wager recorded a 206-100 overall record with the Warriors, where he'd been since 2006. He led Martin to 17 straight playoff appearances, and had eight seasons of at least 10 wins. 

The Texas High School Coaches Association Board member coaches in the Under Armor All-American Game seven times. He also had stints at Tolar, Groveton and Kaufman.
