2024 DE Colin Simmons (6'3, 225) - Duncanville
Simmons is the highest-rated defensive player in the playoffs, leading a Duncanville defense that has limited opponents to 10.89 points per game. He is a terrorizing pass-rusher who will get to the quarterback early and often. The DCTF five-star boasts offers from Texas, Texas A&M, Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma and many more.

2023 QB Jackson Arnold (6'2, 205) - Denton Guyer
Arnold is looking for one more chance to win a state title, and he enters the playoffs playing his best football. The No. 5-rated prospect in the DCTF Hot 100 is a quarterback who has a college-ready frame, throws with tremendous accuracy, and is dangerous enough as a runner when he needs to be. Arnold is committed to Oklahoma.

Another Name to Know: 2023 WR Johntay Cook II (6'0, 175) - DeSoto

He finds a way to make big plays when his team needs it, even if he is being double-teamed. The five-star prospect already has offers from every major college in America.

Another Name to Know: 2023 OLB Anthony Hill (6'2, 225) - Denton Ryan

2023 CB Malik Muhammad (6'0, 170) - South Oak Cliff
Muhammad is the centerpiece of the SOC defense because he completely shuts down one side of the field. Teams do not even want to try and test him. Muhammad is rated as the No. 1 CB in the state. He is committed to Texas but still entertaining offers from Texas A&M and Alabama.

Another Name to Know: 2024 ATH Damien McDaniel (6'0, 165) - Hitchcock

2024 ATH Aeryn Hampton (5'10, 175) - Daingerfield

2023 WR Dalton Brooks (6'1, 175) - Shiner
The Texas A&M commit is rated as the No. 10 prospect in the DCTF Hot 100. Brooks has won back-to-back state titles, but this year's bracket is very tough with potential matchups versus Refugio and Timpson. The DCTF four-star will be integral on both sides of the ball if the Comanches are to three-peat.
