Prospect on the Rise

Taylor 2023 CB/ATH Jarvis Anderson (5'11, 165) committed to SFA. 

Anderson is rated as a DCTF three-star prospect. 

Anderson is a tremendous athlete but may have a higher positional value at cornerback. He has an attacking style and shows good timing when attempting breakups. He qualified for the state track meet but opted to compete in the Deaf Olympics. 

Commit of the Week

Red Oak 2023 CB Warren Roberson (6'0, 180) committed to TCU.

Roberson is rated as a DCTF four-star prospect, checking in at No. 34 in the DCTF Hot 100. 

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Roberson has the look of an elite defender. He is strong and thick in the upper body, which allows him to finish tackles. He is slim and narrow in the lower half, enabling him to retain the agility required to turn and run up the field with receivers without losing a step. 

Underclassman of the Week

Duncanville 2024 RB Caden Durham (5'9, 180) WENT OFF in a 41-17 district win over DeSoto, rushing for 309 yards and five touchdowns on 19 carries. 

On the recruiting front, Durham was rewarded with new scholarship offers from LSU and Michigan State. 

Durham now boasts 15 offers with Houston, TCU, SMU, Alabama, Mississippi State and Oklahoma on the list.   

Recruit of the Week

New Caney 2023 RB Kedrick Reescano (5'11, 190) is back on the market after decommitting from Michigan State.

Reescano took a recent official visit to Oklahoma State to see the Cowboys knock off Texas. 

Ole Miss will also be an important factor in the race for the three-star's signature. 

Texas and Texas A&M have not extended offers but are staying in contact. 

Reescano checks in at No. 70 in the DCTF Hot 100.
