The crew loads up the DCTF Swag Wagon weekly and travels around the state to watch top prospects play in top games.

Name: Derrick McFall | School: Tyler | Class: 2024 | Pos: ATH | HT: 5'11 | WT: 175

Breakdown: McFall was moved to quarterback a couple of weeks back, and he was limited from making an abundance of 'wow' plays in this contest, but it is still easy to see the athleticism, speed, and change of direction that makes him such a special recruit. He is best suited to play in the slot at the next level. McFall has already collected 17 scholarship offers with schools like Baylor, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Alabama, Miami (FL), Oklahoma State and Penn State on the list.

Name: Nate Markiewicz | School: McKinney North | Class: 2024 | Pos: TE | HT: 6'4 | WT: 240

Breakdown: Markiewicz is an impressive specimen in the 2024 class who will continue to command more and more attention as his recruitment unfolds. His older brothers both starred at McKinney North and went on to play in college (QB Dillon Markiewicz, OG Austin Markiewicz). Nate is a fearsome blocker up front, whether he lines up as a traditional in-line TE or as a 'sniffer' back. The Bulldogs controlled the line of scrimmage, racking up 371 rushing yards in a 34-13 win.

Name: Zachaun Williams | School: Tyler | Class: 2024 | Pos: CB | HT: 6'0 | WT: 175

Breakdown: Williams played a really strong game in coverage, limiting one of the district's best wideouts to a conservative stat line.

He has the desirable size to match up well versus bigger, stronger receivers and plays with a steady, consistent style. Williams already has offers from Texas Tech, Arkansas, Colorado and Oklahoma State.

Name: Jayden "JP" Walker | School: McKinney North | Class: 2024 | Pos: RB | HT: 5'10 | WT: 175

Breakdown: Walker was the player of the game. He rushed for 256 yards and three touchdowns on 31 carries. Walker has good first-step quickness with speed to get outside. He can cash in a touchdown if he gets to the edge. Slight frame but has room to add. Pound-for-pound, he plays well above his weight class. He has already rushed for over 1,000 yards this season. Walker is still looking for his first offer, but he should now be on radars.
