Brownfield (4-0) at Littlefield (4-0)

One of the more underrated matchups in the state of Texas takes place on the South Plains in a battle of unbeatens.

Brownfield comes into this one with one of the top offensive units in West Texas, averaging 47.5 points per game. They rolled past Dimmitt, 61-10, last week thanks to JJ Martinez's six touchdown passes.

Littlefield’s been getting things done with a lockdown defense as they allow just over six points per game. Last week the Wildcats rolled past Lamesa 42-0.

I really don’t know what to make of this one. There’s a common opponent in Post, who both teams blew out. In the end I lean to the team playing elite defense and playing at home and that’s Littlefield.

Stepp’s Pick: Littlefield by 6
