DCTF Four-Star LB Derion Gullette Commits to Texas

Teague 2023 DE Derion Gullette (6'3, 225) committed to Texas over offers from Texas A&M, Alabama, Florida, Miami (FL), Ohio State and Oklahoma. 

Gullette is rated as the No. 19 prospect in the DCTF Hot 100. 

Scouting Report: Played at Marlin prior to his senior season. One of the state's best two-sport athletes. Gullette helped lead the Bulldogs to the state semifinals in football, dominating the competition. He racked up 125 tackles, rushed for 1,430 yards, and scored 14 touchdowns. Oh yeah, he's also an all-state punter. 

Gullette racked up 125 tackles, five TFLs, and three sacks to earn first team all-state honors as a junior. He was also crowned the 8-2A-Division I Co-MVP. 

Note: Gullette will be sidelined this season with an ACL injury.
