Prospect on the Rise

Recruiting is starting to heat up for Lovejoy 2023 OL Noah Gardner (6'5, 265).

This week, he picked up new offers from Tulane and Navy, and he also has offers from schools like Army, Louisiana, Louisiana Tech and Texas State.  

Gardner was a first-team all-district selection and reports a 3.7 GPA. 

Commit of the Week

Colleyville Covenant Christian 2023 DE Enow Etta (6'4, 260) committed to Michigan over Michigan State. 

Etta is rated as a DCTF four-star prospect, checking in as No. 30 in the DCTF Hot 100. 

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Etta is a former basketball player who has only been playing football for the last three years. His length and flexibility quickly jump off the tape and his speed off the edge.

Underclassman of the Week

2025 Dallas Parish Episcopal QB Sawyer Anderson (6'0, 170) is quickly becoming a national name in recruiting. 

This week he picked up an offer from North Carolina to add to a growing list that also includes SMU, TCU, Texas Tech, Arkansas, Boston College, Colorado, Memphis, Mississippi State, NC State and Oklahoma State. 

Anderson, who was named a Top 25 prospect in the 2022 edition of Dave Campbell's Texas Football, passed for 2,961 yards and 32 touchdowns as a freshman. 

Recruit of the Week

Austin Westlake 2023 OL TJ Shanahan (6'4, 310) announced a top five of Georgia, LSU, Texas, Texas A&M and USC. 

Shanahan has taken official visits to Georgia (6/3), Texas A&M (6/17) and LSU (6/24). 

Shanahan is rated as a DCTF four-star prospect, checking in as the No. 17 prospect overall in the DCTF Hot 100.
