Odessa Permian 2023 OL Harris Sewell (6'4, 290) committed to Clemson over offers from Texas, Texas A&M, Alabama and Oklahoma.

Sewell is rated as the No. 1 OL prospect in the Class of 2023 per the DCTF rankings, checking in as the No. 12 overall player in Texas.

Scouting Report: Sewell is an offensive line prospect who has experience playing all of the positions up front. A road grater type with the mentality to engage with physicality every play.

A three-year starter who earned all-district honors as a sophomore and junior. Offensive center may be his most natural fit at the next level, but he can play up and down the offensive front. He is powerful as the point of attack and completely obliterates linebackers on the second level.

His lack of experience playing in a wide-open passing attack does not limit his upside because with inside positions he will quick-set 80% of the time. He has time to perfect his skills in pass pro.

Sewell showcases his natural power and strength in track and field, where has posted a 140-2 discus and a 46-7 shot put.
