Reid Mikeska has been a busy man on the recruiting trail.

The 2023 three-star tight end from Bridgeland decided to open up his recruitment by decommiting from Clemson last month, and he's since put in the time getting to know other programs in hot pursuit. Mikeska has made vists to Alabama, Oklahoma, Miami and Florida with others on the way.

“My process for deciding has really just been taking a lot of visits to schools that I’m interested in and just finding the best fit for me,” Mikeska said. “As of right now, I’m fortunate to have 46 offers, all of which from the schools I’m interested in.”

The 6-foot-6, 230-pound Houston native announced his top 12 schools last March before committing to Clemson. Sitting as the No. 63 overall player in Texas, Mikeska has yet to announce a list of schools of interest.

This will be his first season as a Bridgeland Bear after spending his past three years at Friendswood High School playing both football and basketball. The soon-to-be senior still has his sights set on being the best and winning it all.

“My mindset right now is to become the best tight end in the state and get a little bit better each day until I achieve that,” Mikeska said. “[And] to go undefeated for my senior season.”
