Cody Jackson transfers to Houston from Oklahoma

The Cougars added to quarterback Clayton Tune's weaponry with the addition of former Oklahoma wide receiver Cody Jackson. The 6-0, 179-pound redshirt freshman returns home after a prep career at Richmond Foster. He’ll possess four years of eligibility after playing in two games for the Sooners in 2021. Jackson was a four-star prospect after catching 57 passes for 947 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior. He’s the fourth transfer wide receiver added by the Cougars this offseason joining Sam Brown, Joseph Manjack, and Brice Johnson.
