The Longhorns continued to build depth in their wide receiver room with the addition of transfer Agiye Hall from Alabama.

Hall, a 6-3, 190-pound product of Florida, was a four-star talent that ranked 45th nationally in the 2021 recruiting class. He was the fifth-ranked wide receiver in that cycle. For reference, Texas’ Xavier Worth, a freshman All-American in 2021, was the eighth-ranked wide receiver in that class.

Hall was recruited to play at Alabama by Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian, who was the offensive coordinator for the Crimson Tide at the time. Texas heads into 2022 with an improved wide receiver unit. Worthy is back, as is a healthy Jordan Whittington. Texas also added Wyoming transfer Isaiah Neyor.
