Fort Worth All Saints OLB/DE Robert Sanders (6'2, 215) added his second P5 offer from Washington State. 

Sanders also holds offers from schools like New Mexico State, Fordham, Arizona, Princeton, Air Force, Montana State, Navy, Army, ULM, Penn, Columbia, Louisiana and Furman. 

Sanders is a jack of all trades on the defensive side of the football, but projects as an EDGE defender at the next level. 

Commit of the Week

North Crowley 2023 ILB S'Maje Burrell (6'0, 215) committed to Texas over offers from TCU, Texas Tech, Florida, Ohio State, Oklahoma, USC and more.  

Burrell is rated as a DCTF four-star prospect. He checks in as the No. 41 prospect in the state and is the No. 1 rated ILB. 

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Burrell is a natural playmaker at linebacker who could play any of the linebacker positions. He reads and diagnoses plays very quickly and has the mass to finish tackles when he arrives at the ball.

Underclassman of the Week

DeSoto 2025 RB Deondrae Riden Jr. (5'11, 180) picked up a new offer from Texas A&M. 

Riden also owns offers from schools like Utah, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Oregon, Ole Miss, Arizona and USC. 

Riden, who had an outstanding performance at the UA Camp in Dallas, was named one of the Top 25 Freshmen in DCTF Rising Magazine. 

Recruit of the Week

Fresh off of a state championship run in 2021, Katy Paetow has had some major shakeups to its coaching staff in the wake of B.J. Goette's departure to Pearland. 

It hired Denton Ryan offensive coordinator Lonnie Teagle on March 30 and Teagle promptly hired Allen DL Coach David Hicks to be his assistant head coach. 

That move also brings in DCTF's No. 1 rated prospect to the fold in D.J. Hicks (6'4, 270). 

Hicks owns 37 scholarship offers. He was named the 5-6A Defensive Player of the Year and earned All-State honors as a junior at Allen.
