Hicks has 37 scholarship offers, making him the most heavily recruited defensive prospect in the Houston Metroplex in the 2023 cycle.

Offers: Alabama, Arizona State, Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Houston, LSU, Miami (FL), Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, SMU, Stanford, TCU, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, USC, UTSA, Washington

Hicks is rated as a DCTF five-star and a 247Sports Composite five-star prospect.
