The Texas high school football coach’s recommendation and in-person evaluations play a significant role in DCTF’s rankings process. Through those combined efforts we try to provide our fans an accurate guideline to track the top college-bound prospects in the state.
New Four-Stars in the Updated DCTF Hot 100
DT Terrance Green - Cypress Woods: The athletic 6-foot-5, 265-pounder is one of the state's hottest prospects. Green boasts 21 offers with schools like Baylor, Houston, TCU Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Oregon, USC and Washington standing out from the pack. Green was the UA Camp DL MVP.
RB Kalib Hicks - Denton Ryan: Hicks rushed for 1,448 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2021, earning scholarship offers from Baylor, Houston, TCU, Texas Tech, Alabama, Ole Miss, South Carolina and more.
OT Ian Reed - Austin Vandegrift: Reed was named the District OL MVP and earned Academic all-district and all-Centex honors. He has picked up offers from schools like TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Arkansas, Colorado, Michigan State, Oklahoma State and USC.
RB Cameron Cook - Round Rock Stony Point: You won't find a more well-rounded running back prospect. Cook is currently considering offers from schools like TCU, Texas, Ole Miss, Oregon and Penn State. He was named the UA Camp RB MVP.
DT Ansel Nedore - Round Rock: You won't find a more explosive defensive tackle. Look for his stock to rise even higher in the spring evaluation period. Nedore already holds offers from Baylor, Houston, SMU, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech and UTSA.
