Copperas Cove has named Dallas WT White head coach Tony Johnson to the same position.

Johnson, who will replace Jason Hammett, will try and get the Bulldogs back on track after back-to-back 1-9 seasons.

In 2020, Johnson led White to its first playoff appearance since 2007 and finished with a 6-5 record. The Longhorns went 6-5 in 2021 as well.
