Dallas Skyline has named Humble Atascocita defensive coordinator Jacody Coleman as its new head coach.

Coleman will replace Herman Johnson Jr., who was reassigned to a different role within the athletics department after a 1-9 season.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to be the next head coach at Skyline High School,” Coleman said in a news release. “I want to put a product on the field that will compete at the state’s highest level, and with the support of administration, faculty, students, alumni, and the community, we will accomplish great things.”

Coleman has been at Atascocita since 2012.
