2022 Klein Cain WR Matthew Golden (6'0, 190) signed with Houston on Wednesday, picking the Cougars over TCU, Texas, and LSU offers.

Golden is rated as a DCTF four-star prospect, checking in as the No. 32 prospect in the DCTF Hot 100 and the No. 6 WR in the state.

Scouting Report: Quick receiver with a great release off the line to gain separation. Combined with speed, able to pull away from defensive backs with ease. NFL hands, great body control. Overall, Golden is a true and dangerous deep threat.

Golden boasts a 10.91 100-meter dash, racked up over 3.200 yards and scored 32 touchdowns in his three-year prep career.
