Texas A&M signed the No. 1 class in the nation per the 247Sports Composite and there are still some big fish to potentially add to the mix.

Frisco Liberty five-star WR Evan Stewart (6'0, 175) is committed but did not yet sign a Letter of Intent. Cypress Park OLB Harold Perkins (6'2, 200) is making his announcement at the Under Armour All America Game. Perkins is the No. 6 prospect in the DCTF Hot 100.

Three Key Additions

Who were the highest-rated signees or prospects who might come in and make a significant impact?

DT Walter Nolen (6'4, 325) - Powell (Tenn.): The five-star is the No. 2 overall player in the nation per the 247Sports Composite. Nolen will play in the Under Armour All-America Game. The big defensive lineman has the speed and quickness of a defensive end but is noted for his strength and heavy-handedness at the point of attack.

DT Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy (6'3, 280) - Lakeland (Fla.): The future of the A&M defensive front is secure with the second five-star signing. Brownlow-Dindy checks in as the No. 16 player in the nation per the 247Sports Composite. The one-time OU commit flipped to Texas A&M after the Lincoln Riley news. On tape, he is lightning quick off the snap and causes constant disruption.

DE Malick Sylla (6'6, 230) - Katy: The No. 7 player in the DCTF Hot 100 and the No. 2 DE in the Lone Star State. A disciplined defensive end who understands his assignments and plays scheme-sound defense. Sylla's length and ranginess make him a fearsome pass rusher and allow him to disrupt throwing lanes consistently. Sylla's teammate at Katy -- DB Bobby Taylor -- is a DCTF four-star who also signed with the Aggies.

Fan Favorite

What prospect was a fan favorite on social media or a local hero who starred near the campus?

QB Conner Weigman (6'2, 210) - Cypress Bridgeland: Weigman will come in and immediately compete for the starting job. He is a tried and true competitor who can beat defenses in multiple ways. He is improvisational when needed and finds ways to make key plays in big situations. He throws with accuracy from the pocket, on the run, and from multiple arm slots. He always keeps his eyes downfield.

Super Sleeper

We pick one prospect on the commit list and break down how he might outplay his ranking in college.

ATH Ish Harris (6'3, 195) - Pilot Point: It is hard to find a sleeper in a class full of stars, but we have our eye on this small-school TXHSFB star. A standout on offense and defense, Harris drew college attention at running back and linebacker. On offense, he hits the hole with authority and has the speed to run away. On defense, he is a rangy defender who will lay the wood.
