5A Division II: Liberty Hill vs. South Oak Cliff

Liberty Hill will rely on a powerful defensive unit to slow the SOC offensive attack, where most of its D1 talent is. 2022 RB/LB Andon Thomas (6'1, 200) is committed to Air Force and will make his presence felt on both sides of the ball. 2022 S/OLB Kaden McMahan (6'4, 200) is athletic enough to play safety but may be destined to move into the box in college. Air Force, Army Dartmouth, Navy and New Mexico have offered. 2022 DE Aaron Brewer (6'4, 230) is another Air Force commit who plays with a hot motor.

South Oak Cliff's roster is loaded with D1 talent. SMU QB commit Kevin Henry-Jennings (6'1, 185) is heading up the offense. Jennings has been extremely efficient, tossing 35 touchdowns to only three interceptions. The defensive secondary boats a pair of 2023 four-stars in CB Malik Muhammad (6'0, 170) and CB Jayvon Thomas (5'11, 180). Muhammad is a true technician who boasts 42 offers. Thomas, who boasts 20 offers, has the skills of a cornerback but hits like a safety.

6A Division I: North Shore vs. Duncanville

Five-star talent will be on display in this heavyweight match-up, including the state's top two overall recruits. North Shore features the No. 1 overall recruit in 2022 CB Denver Harris (6'1, 180), who is set to announce his commitment between Texas, Texas A&M, Alabama and LSU following the game. 2022 DT Kristopher Ryan-Ross (6'3, 280) signed with Texas and was recently named the Houston Touchdown Club Defensive Player of the Year. Everyone should familiarize the name of 2025 QB Kaleb Bailey (6'0, 195). The freshman has been instrumental in North Shore's run

The state's No. 2 overall prospect is 2022 DE Omari Abor (6'4, 240) is a terror off of the edge. He has been nursing a lower leg injury for much of the season but played what may have been his best game versus Southlake Carroll in the state semifinal win. Duncanville has a number of top-tier underclassmen at wide receiver and in the defensive secondary, but it will be the play on the offensive front that is most critical and the Panthers have a pair of elites in the trenches. 2022 OT/OG Jaylen Early (6'4, 320) signed with Florida State and has the skills to protect his quarterback's blindside combined with the power to move defenders out of run lanes. 2022 OT/OG Cameron Williams (6'5, 360) is a true road-grater who, because of his massiveness, will be the most recognizable player on the field.

6A Division II: Austin Westlake vs. Denton Guyer

DCTF five-star 2022 QB Cade Klubnik (6'3, 190) was the Offensive MVP in last year's title game win for Austin Westlake and he has had an even more impressive senior year. The Clemson signee has been terrorizing defenses all season and is one of the most efficient and accurate passers in the nation. Klubnik was the Elite 11 MVP. The offensive front features a trio of P5-level offensive linemen in 2022 Indiana signee Bray Lynch (6'5, 280), 2022 Texas signee Connor Robertson (6'4, 295), and 2023 four-star TJ Shanahan (6'4, 300). On defense, 2022 DE Ethan Burke (6'7, 225) signed with Texas and 2023 DE Colton Vasek (6'6, 230) has early offers from North Texas, Indiana and Tulsa.

Denton Guyer will match Westlake with the No. 1 rated QB in the 2023 cycle in Jackson Arnold (6'1, 195). He has completed over 65% of his passes while tossing 35 touchdown passes to only three interceptions. Arnold has collected 21 scholarship offers with schools like TCU, Baylor, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oklahoma and Notre Dame on the list. 2023 S Peyton Bowen (6'1, 185) is an instinctive player with great ball skills. He quickly attacks the ball and helps out against the run. Bowen already boasts 26 offers. 2023 CB Ryan Yaites (6'1, 175) possesses the size that defensive coordinators covet and that is why schools like TCU, Texas, Ole Miss, Notre Dame and USC have already offered.
