2A Division II: Stratford vs. Falls City

Stratford Seniors Cody Rinne and Dru Jones are the team's heartbeat, but recruitniks will have eyes on the Bradens. 2025 LB Bryce Braden (6'2, 190). Braden had a breakout freshman season, becoming a steady force on the Elks' defense. 2024 WR/LB Luke Braden (6'4, 180) is a match-up problem.

3A Division I: Brock vs. Lorena

2022 TE Nathan Jones (6'4, 230) checks in at No. 97 in the DCTF Hot 100. The Minnesota commit is an athletic tight end who is known to be a very physical blocker, and he sets the edge for a potent rushing attack. Brock has a core of sophomores that will sustain the program in DT Hunter Fay (6'3, 245)S Carson Finney (6'0, 170) and LB Camden Harris (6'1, 190).

Lorena gets the job done as a unit, but it will be easy to appreciate the size of 2025 OG/DT Jackson Blackwell (6'3, 295), who took in camps this offseason at Alabama, Clemson and LSU.

3A Division II: Gunter vs. Franklin

The focus will undoubtedly be on Gunter 2022 ATH Hudson "Hut" Graham (6'1, 175). The DCTF three-star is committed to Texas Tech. His future in the Big 12 may be on the defensive side of the football, but his performance at quarterback will be pivotal for the Tigers' championship hopes.

Franklin has a pair of athletes to watch in 2022 Malcom Murphy (5'10, 175) and 2023 Bryson Washington (6'0, 185). Murphy has offers from William Penn and McMurry. Washington does a little bit of everything on the field for Franklin. While he is dangerous on offense with the football in his hands, his best college position may be safety. Baylor and Houston have shown interest.
