2022 CB Denver Harris (6'1, 180) - Galena Park North Shore:
The No. 1 prospect in the DCTF Class of 2022 Hot 100 is considering offers from schools like Texas, Texas A&M and Alabama. The five-star prospect missed some time early this season with a knee injury, but his ability to lockdown one-half of the field will help the Mustang's title hopes.

Another Name to Know: 2023 DE David "DJ" Hicks (6'4, 250) - Allen

2022 OT Kelvin Banks Jr. (6'5, 300) - Summer Creek:
The DCTF five-star offensive lineman is committed to Oregon, but Texas has kept the pressure on in this recruitment. Banks is a load of trouble upfront and is an equally skilled pass and run blocker.

Another Name to Know: 2022 QB Cade Klubnik (6'3, 185) - Austin Westlake

2023 OLB Anthony Hill (6'2, 225) - Denton Ryan:
The 2023 composite five-star is a terror on the defensive side of the football. The Raiders will need to play exceptional defense to win another state title, and Hill will be the centerpiece. He has already collected 30 scholarships from the nation's top-rated programs.

Another Name to Know: 2023 WR Jalen Hale (6'3, 185) - Longview

2024 QB Dylan Raiola (6'3, 210) - Burleson:
Burleson features the state's brightest up-and-coming star under center. Raiola--the son of former Nebraska All-American Dominic Raiola--has picked up recent offers from schools like Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia, Notre Dame and Texas. He has the makings of a future five-star prospect.

Another Name to Know: 2022 S Bryan "BJ" Allen (6'0, 185) - Aledo

2023 RB Rueben Owens II (5'11, 185) - El Campo:
Owens was the first-ever freshman to win positional MVP honors at the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 Showcase. Since then, he has become a national name, collecting offers from every major brand in college football and putting up monster stats. Owens is in the running to be the state's No. 1 prospect.

Another Name to Know: 2024 DE Nigel Smith II (6'5, 240) - Melissa

2023 RB Tre Wisner (5'11, 180) - Waco Connally:
The toughest bracket to pick out a clear-cut top prospect. Several highly-rated talents are ranked very closely together, but Wisner has the type of speed and explosion that should ultimately place him highest on the DCTF Hot 100 list.

Another Name to Know: 2023 WR Montrel Hatten (6'0, 175) - Carthage

2022 WR DJ Allen (5'11, 180) - Gladewater:
Allen is rated as a composite four-star prospect and has explosive qualities that allow him to dominate at the 3A level.  His combination of physicality and quickness off the line make him a mismatch nightmare. Allen is currently listed as a soft commit for TCU and used official visits to Baylor, Arkansas and USC in June.

Another Name to Know: 2023 ATH Cayden Fortson (5'11, 170) - Sabine

2022 RB De'Anthony Gatson (5'10, 200) - Newton:
The No. 50-rated prospect in the DCTF Hot 100 recently decommitted from USC and is now considering offers from schools like Baylor, Colorado, Texas and more. Gatson is a bruising running back who can at times completely take over games.

Another Name to Know: 2022 ATH Jared Kerr (6'0, 175) - Lexington

2A-DI

2023 WR Dalton Brooks (6'1, 175) - Shiner:
With offers on the table from Texas, Texas A&M, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State and Oklahoma, Brooks will be one of the highest-rated small school players in the nation and almost a lock to be a Top 10 in-state player in his class. Shiner is a clear-cut favorite for the state title, and Brooks is a big reason why.

Another Name to Know: 2024 ATH Terry Bussey (5'11, 165) - Timpson

2A-DII

2022 ATH Jeremy Patton (6'2, 210) - Tenaha:
Patton is a multiple-time selection for the honor of being the top prospect at this level and justifiably so. The DCTF four-star is the highest-rated Baylor commit in the 2022 cycle. Patton is the type of player who could take over in the playoffs and lead his team to glory.

Another Name to Know: 2023 QB Kanon Gibson (6'1, 190) - Wink
