The gauntlet for C.E. King continues this week as after suffering a loss to state ranked Humble Atascocita last Saturday night, the Panthers have to pick themselves up off the mat and try to deal with powerful Galena Park North Shore.

North Shore rolled past Humble Summer Creek, 45-16, a week ago as the Mustangs offense seems to be getting rolling after starting the season slowly. Kalen Bailey ran for 115 yards and a touchdown, while Xavier Owens chipped in 98 yards on the ground and two touchdowns in the win.

King started out strong last week, but the Panthers had no answers on Saturday night in a 42-21 loss to Humble Atascocita. RB Jerrell Wimbley ran for 98 yards and two touchdowns in the loss, but three turnovers proved to be King’s undoing.

The big concern for the Panthers in this one is going to be up front, North Shore is a handful in the trenches and King may not be able to hold up along the offensive and defensive lines.
