Southlake Carroll looks to continue to march onwards towards the playoffs while Proper looks to provide the upset in this non-district 6A match-up.

It may have been a little close for comfort but Carroll was able to pull out the win against a very robust Rockwall-Heath offense, winning 36-35.

The Dragons started very slowly scoring only 10 points to Heath’s 21. But a huge third quarter, scoring 20 points, would catch Carroll back up to within 5. A late 4th quarter score and a blocked field goal sealed things for the Dragons.

QB Kaden Anderson continues to show that Carroll will not miss a beat throwing for 354 yards and two touchdowns, while RB Owen Allen was dominant through the ground and air with 229 total yards and two touchdowns.

Prosper showed a complete performance in their game against Mansfield Lake Ridge putting up 47 points in the first half, while keeping Lake Ridge to seven points in a 63-7 win.

In his second game for the Eagles, Harrison Rosar threw for 260 yards and four touchdowns. A bevy of backs contributed to the running game, but three of them combined for four touchdowns. WR Houston Hawkins was the main beneficiary of the passing attack as on four receptions he went for 127 yards and four touchdowns.

Southlake Carroll showed that they can be vulnerable on the defensive side of the ball, so Prosper will need to carry over the offense they had from last game. But Carroll also showed that you can never count them out. Prosper has shown the ability to play with big teams the last couple of years and that should make this a close game.
