Sixth-ranked Lake Travis travels up to Dallas to face off against No. 11 Rockwall in what should be an offensive showcase, with two-star QBs in a non-district 6A showdown.

Lake Travis disrupted a Converse Judson team that had just beaten DeSoto, to take home the win, 52-20. The Cavaliers were able to take advantage of mistakes from Judson after causing multiple turnovers from the Rockets.

Junior Quarterback Bo Edmundson has been gaining more and more attention as he threw for 120 yards and a touchdown. Sophomore Nico Hamilton did plenty of work on the ground with 100 yards and a touchdown.

Rockwall thumped Jesuit last week scoring 75 points, rolling up 711 yards of offense, and 31 first downs. The Yellow Jackets never let off of the gas ending almost every drive with a score.

Star QB Braedyn Locke was kept in the entire game and threw for 413 yards and 5 touchdowns. The main man on the ground, Zach Hernandez, ran for 147 yards and two touchdowns, while two receivers had over 100 yards and combined for three touchdowns.

The defense also shined as they forced four turnovers, three interceptions and one fumble, as well as choked out the Jesuit offense to only seven points in the second half.

This game will feature two high profile quarterbacks as well high octane offenses. In what surely will be a shoot-out, it will be up to the defenses to bring back what they did last week and try to force a turnover.
