Prospect on the Rise

2022 Denton Guyer WR Jace Wilson (6'4, 185) had one of the most impressive performances at the Texas 7-on-7 State Championships.

Wilson has offers from a wide array of programs, but he deserves even more looks from Power Five conference schools (so far, Kansas and Michigan State are his only P5 offers).

Wilson is a true outside receiver who has a natural feel for his spacing on the field and understands how to use his body to shield defenders. The DCTF three-star is athletic and moves well to leave little doubt about his skill set.

Commit of the Week

2022 Garland WR Jordan Hudson (6'1, 180) committed to SMU over offers from Texas, TCU, Alabama and Oklahoma.

The one-time OU commit formed a strong bond with SMU assistant Ra'shaad Samples.

Hudson checks in at No. in the DCTF Hot 100.

Scouting Report: Hudson is a wide receiver who already has the size and frame to make an early college impact. He is a big-time playmaker on the outside and in the return game. Hudson has excellent ball skills, sometimes making acrobatic catches.

Underclassmen of the Week

2023 Justin Northwest QB Jake Strong (6'1, 190) had a strong showing at the Pylon National Championships and is considered one of the state's top '23 quarterbacks.

Strong has early offers from Western Kentucky and Illinois State and is catching interest from many of the state's top programs like Baylor, SMU, TCU and Texas A&M.

Strong racked up over 2,800 yards and scored 36 touchdowns in 2020-21.

Recruit of the Week

2022 Austin Westlake QB Cade Klubnik (6'2, 185) went out to the Elite 11 and stole the show, earning MVP honors at the nation's most prestigious QB camp.

Klubnik is committed to Clemson and is rated as the No. 2 QB prospect in the DCTF rankings.

Additionally, Southlake Carroll QB Quinn Ewers (Ohio State), Cypress Bridgeland QB Connor Weigman (Texas A&M) and Flower Mound QB Nick Evers were all named 'Elite 11'.
