Three Prospects to Watch in Division III

ATH Hut Graham (2022) - Gunter
Fresh off of his commitment to Texas Tech, the Gunter quarterback looks to lead his team to the 7-on-7 state title.

TE Hawkins Polley - Stratford
A great tight end can be a difference-maker in any 7-on-7 tournament and Stratford will look to Polley often. Polley has offers from Baylor, Houston, SMU and Vanderbilt.

ATH Jared Kerr - Lexington
Kerr is the highest-rated prospect in the DIII tourney. The DCTF four-star checks in at No. 49 in the state and has offers from a wide array of top colleges.

Five Prospects to Watch in Division II

RB Jaylen Boardley (2024) - Texarkana Pleasant Grove
Boardley wasted little time arriving on the recruiting scene and is one of the most promising prospects in his class. In-state schools like Baylor, Houston and UTSA have already offered.

WR Montrell Hatten II (2023) - Carthage
Hatten is the go-to guy at Carthage, which boasts one of the state's top offenses annually. Colleges are already starting to notice his talent as he has offers from Baylor, Houston, SMU, Arkansas and Georgia Tech.

TE Jayce Jones (2023) - Silsbee
Look for the recruitment of Jones to start to pick up the more he is seen. The 6'6, 220-pound athletic tight end has an offer from Memphis but more are on the way.

LB Kip Lewis (2022) - Carthage
The Oklahoma commit from East Texas will be worth a watch. Everyone watching the state title game at AT&T Stadium knows about his tackling ability, but 7-on-7 will give him a chance to show his coverage skills.

RB Rueben Owens II (2023) - El Campo
One of the top-rated prospects in any of the tournaments, Owens is fresh off a Texas decommitment. Owens, who has 29 scholarship offers, was the Next Level Athlete Top 100 RB MVP.

15 Prospects to Watch in Division I

ATH Bryce Anderson (2022) - Beaumont West Brook
Checking in at No. 7 in the state, Anderson is vying for DCTF five-star status. he is considering offers from schools like Texas, Texas A&M, Alabama and LSU. He pushed back a July 4 decision to compete in the tournament.

QB Jackson Arnold (2023) - Denton Guyer
Arnold looked the part at the Elite 11 camp in Dallas, and since then, his recruitment has spiked with offers from schools like TCU, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State and more.

WR Caleb Burton (2022) - Lake Travis
The Ohio State commitment is rated as the No. 1 WR in the state and he is now playing on one of the state's top-rated teams. That should be a wicked combination that leads to success.

ATH Johntay Cook II (2023) - DeSoto
This is one of the hottest recruits in the country, with recent offers from schools like Alabama, Ohio State and TCU.

WR Ashton Cozart (2023) - Flower Mound Marcus
Marcus not only boasts one of the state's top wide receiver prospects in Cozart, who has 20 offers, but it also has 2024 QB Cole Welliver tossing him the rock.

TE Donovan Green (2022) - Dickinson
The No. 1 rated TE in the state will be a match-up nightmare for linebackers or defensive backs. Green is committed to Texas A&M.

ATH Mikal Harrison-Pilot (2023) - Temple
One of the state's most versatile prospects could make an impact at several positions on the field, but his recruitment took off after a dominant season at wide receiver. He has well over 20 offers.

WR Jordan Hudson (2022) - Garland
Hudson recently decommitted from Oklahoma and worked in an official visit to SMU. Could the Mustangs be in line to gain the four-star's commitment?

WR Stephon Johnson (2022) - DeSoto
There is a chance that everyone walks away saying that Stephon Johnson was the best receiver who played in the tournament. He has the size and speed to dominate. Johnson is committed to Oregon.

QB Cade Klubnik (2022) - Austin Westlake
Before making an appearance at the Elite 11 Finals, The Clemson commit will take a swing at helping his team collect another championship.

QB Mabrey Mettauer (2024) - The Woodlands
The young gunslinger has been on fire in recruiting, picking up an offer from LSU after a strong camp showing. Texas Tech also recently offered the 6'5, 215-pounder.

QB Garret Rangel (2022) - Lone Star
The Oklahoma State commit is one of the best and most consistent in any setting, so you must consider Frisco Lone Star as one of the teams to beat.

QB Weston Smith (2023) - Colleyville Heritage
Smith burst on the radar after a strong showing at the Steve Clarkson QB Retreat, where his performance earned him an offer from Florida State. State 7-on-7 will give us a chance to see what state of Nevada transfer is bringing.

QB Connor Weigman (2022) - Cypress Bridgeland
The Texas A&M commitment is one of the prospects we are most eager to see. The four-star could rise up the DCTF rankings list with a positive showing.

S Ryan Yaites (2023) - Denton Guyer
Guyer is reloading on defense with a number of young talents standing out, but most impressive may be Yaites, who has the skills of a cornerback in a safety's body. He has 13 offers.
