Austin Westlake 2022 QB Cade Klubnik (6'3, 205) had a strong performance at the Elite 11 camp in Dallas.

The No. 2 rated quarterback prospect in Texas secured an invitation to the Elite 11 Finals.

"Definitely the hugest honor as an individual being a quarterback that I have ever received," Klubnik said.

"Sam Ehlinger is a good friend of ours and growing up watching him train for that and get ready to go for that and go ball out at it...that was something I always dreamed of doing."

"It is pretty crazy that I get to go do it. It will be really fun. It is a huge honor."

Klubnik made a verbal commitment to play his college ball at Clemson over an array of national offers.

A lot of schools say that they feel like family, but it really does (at Clemson)," Klubnik explained. "You step on campus and everybody is your best friend. There is nobody above or below anybody else. You can be the starting quarterback, or you can be a random person at a restaurant and they treat you like their best friend. It just feels special. It is different than anywhere I have ever been."

The DCTF four-star helped lead Austin Westlake to the 6A Division I state title in 2020-21, with a big win over Southlake Carroll.
