Prospect on the Rise 

2022 Plano John Paul II OC Caden Kitler (6'3, 290) is a prospect who continues to add attention, and he now boasts 28 offers. 

Kitler picked up new offers from Purdue and Louisiana this week. The Boilermakers were his second Power Five Conference offer joining Washington State. 

Kitler, who has an official visit scheduled with UCF, also holds offers from schools like Houston, Texas State, UTSA, Memphis, Louisiana Tech and more.

2022 Carthage LB Kip Lewis (6'1, 200) committed to Oklahoma over offers from Arkansas, Baylor, LSU, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech and USC.

The three-star is rated as the No. 54 prospect in the DCTF Hot 100. 

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: A smooth, big-bodied linebacker who closes on the football quickly and has the sideline-to-sideline speed that defensive coordinators covet. Lewis plays well in space and his ability to arrive at the ball in a hurry allows him to rack up many tackles. He helped lead Carthage to a state title.

Garland Naaman Forest 2023 DT Markis Deal (6'5, 280) picked up a significant in-state offer from Texas. 

Deal also holds early offers from Baylor, Rice, SMU, Arizona State, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Syracuse, Tulane and Washington State. 

Deal is the younger brother of Tulane tight end Devean Deal. 

Recruit of the Week

2022 Tyler Legacy RB Jamarion Miller (5'10, 185) is one of the state's brightest stars. 

He has 26 scholarship offers with some of the nation's heavy hitters like Baylor, Texas, TCU, Alabama, LSU, Nebraska, Oklahoma State and USC on board. 

Miller is rated as a four-star prospect, checking in at No. 28 in the DCTF Hot 100. 

As a junior, Miller rushed for 1,631 yards and 20 touchdowns and had 28 receptions for 464 yards and eight scores to earn 10-6A Utility Player of the Year honors.
